A man is recovering in serious but stable condition after being stabbed during an altercation in Newark’s North Ward Saturday night.
Police were called to the 100 block of North 12th Street around 9:04 p.m.
Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from stab wounds and immediately provided aid until EMS arrived.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Newark officials said the incident remains under investigation.
