Authorities are investigating a serious motorcycle crash in Paterson that left two individuals with severe injuries early Thursday morning.
According to preliminary information, emergency responders were called to the intersection of Madison Avenue and 8th Avenue shortly after the incident occurred.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a heavily damaged motorcycle and two injured individuals.
One of the victims, reportedly the motorcycle driver, was found unconscious and unresponsive. First responders administered CPR at the scene before rushing the individual to St. Joseph’s Medical Center.
A second person also sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office has been notified and is overseeing the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
