Authorities are investigating a stabbing incident that left several people injured near a Newark Light Rail station early Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred at approximately 12:35 a.m. at the Orange Street station near 1st Street.
When officers arrived, they discovered as many as four individuals suffering from stab wounds.
Officials confirmed that none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening. NJIT Police also responded to the scene and assisted with aiding the victims.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain unclear, and investigators have not released details regarding a possible motive.
The incident remains under active and ongoing investigation.
