The City of East Orange is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day with its annual Fourth of July Spectacular and Fireworks Show, set to take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Paul Robeson Stadium, located at 215 N. Clinton Street.

The gates open at 6:00 p.m., kicking off an evening filled with music, dancing, and patriotic celebration.
The lineup features WBLS’s DJ Qua, hosted by Lenny Green, with a special live performance by R&B artist Jeff Redd, best known for his classic hit “You Called and Told Me.”
The evening will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display, lighting up the sky above East Orange.
Adding a unique cultural twist, attendees are encouraged to wear cowboy attire, bring fans, and join Najah Riker and friends in an attempt to create the largest “Boots on the Ground” Line Dance in Essex County.
“This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in the spirit of unity and independence,” said Mayor Ted R. Green. “We welcome families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a safe and exciting night in East Orange.”
Admission is free, and free parking will be available at:
• East Orange Campus High School – 344 Prospect Street
• STEM Academy – 129 Renshaw Avenue
Both lots will open at 6:00 p.m.
The East Orange Police Department will provide additional patrols to ensure safety for guests walking to and from the stadium.
