Federal authorities have charged five New Jersey men with racketeering conspiracy, drug trafficking, and firearms offenses in connection with the Bounty Hunter Bloods gang, following a sweeping federal indictment, according to information released by U.S. Attorney Alina Habba’s office.

The defendants — Carl Napier, Hamir Wright, Alexis Tejada, Jihad Bibbs, and Jamie Archer-Monroe — are all residents of Somerset and Middlesex counties.
The group is accused of engaging in a wide-ranging criminal enterprise that included murders, drug distribution, fraud, and illegal firearm activity.
According to court documents, Napier and Wright were allegedly affiliated with the Bounty Hunter Bloods, operating through smaller neighborhood factions known as “Parkside” in Somerset and “The Ville” in New Brunswick.
Prosecutors say the group carried out violent attacks, including shootings and killings, targeting rival gang members.
One of the most violent incidents cited in the indictment occurred on March 12, 2024, when Napier and Wright allegedly confronted rival gang members in New Brunswick during a dispute over narcotics.
The confrontation escalated into gunfire, resulting in one fatality and another person injured.
In addition to the violence, officials say the defendants regularly trafficked firearms and distributed drugs across New Brunswick and Somerset.
Napier and Bibbs remain in federal custody from prior charges, while Tejada and Archer-Monroe were recently arrested and made initial court appearances.
Wright is currently in state custody on unrelated charges and is expected to appear in federal court later.

The case is the result of a multi-agency investigation involving the FBI, U.S. Attorney’s Office, and law enforcement from Middlesex and Somerset counties, as well as local police departments from New Brunswick and Franklin Township.
