Kraft Heinz Foods Company has issued a nationwide recall of more than 367,000 pounds of fully cooked Oscar Mayer turkey bacon due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to information released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The recalled products were manufactured between April 24 and June 11, 2025, and include various package sizes of “Oscar Mayer Turkey BACON ORIGINAL.” Affected items include:
• 12-oz. vacuum-sealed packs with UPC 071871548601, “use by” dates from July 18 to August 2, 2025, and lot code RS40
• 36-oz. packs containing three 12-oz. packages with UPC 071871548748, “use by” dates from July 23 to September 4, 2025, and lot codes RS19, RS40, or RS42
• 48-oz. packs of four 12-oz. units with UPC 071871548793, “use by” dates ranging from July 18 to September 4, 2025, and the same lot codes
Each package carries the USDA inspection mark and was distributed across the United States, with additional shipments sent to the British Virgin Islands and Hong Kong.
The potential contamination was discovered during routine product testing at the company’s facility.

While no illnesses have been reported, FSIS urges consumers to check their refrigerators and freezers and avoid consuming any of the recalled items. Individuals with concerns about potential illness should seek medical advice.
