New Brunswick Crash That Seriously Injured 5-Year-Old Girl Under Investigation

Authorities in Middlesex County announced that a serious crash is under investigation in the City of New Brunswick.

Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone stated that on June 29, at approximately 10:15 P.M., the New Brunswick Police Department responded to the intersection of Route 18 and Paulus Boulevard for a report of a serious crash.

Upon their arrival, authorities located a Hyundai Santa Fe that was occupied by the driver and 3 additional occupants, which struck a Chevy Equinox that was occupied by the driver and 4 additional occupants, MCPO officials say. 

According to Middlesex County officials, one of the occupants of the Hyundai and all of the passengers of the Chevy, including a 5-year-old girl, were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment.

The 5-year-old girl remains in critical condition, Middlesex County authorities stated.
