A lucky Essex County resident struck it big on Sunday, winning $22,091 through the New Jersey Lottery’s Fast Play Progressive game.
According to a statement from the New Jersey Lottery, the winning Jersey Jackpot ticket — worth 20% of the progressive prize — was purchased at Irvington Liquors, located at 1394 Springfield Avenue in Irvington. The ticket cost just $2.
Following the win, the total Fast Play Progressive jackpot has climbed to more than $95,000.
Fast Play Progressive tickets are available at any authorized New Jersey Lottery retailer and provide instant results for players.
