NJ Woman Charged in Berlin Township Wawa Stabbing

A woman from Atlantic County is facing attempted murder and multiple weapons charges following a stabbing outside a Wawa in Berlin Township Friday afternoon, according to a joint statement from Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Berlin Township Police Chief Louis Bordi.

Authorities said the incident happened at approximately 2:43 p.m. at the Wawa located along the 400 block of Route 73. 

 

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a 35-year-old man from Egg Harbor City suffering from multiple stab wounds in the parking lot.
 

The victim was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
 

Police swiftly apprehended the alleged assailant, identified as 36-year-old Kelli Feaster, also of Egg Harbor City. She was located behind the store and taken into custody without incident. 

 

Officials confirmed that Feaster and the victim were known to each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

 

Feaster has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. 

 

She is being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility, pending a detention hearing in Superior Court.
