Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery at NJ Towing Facility

Phillipsburg police are searching for a suspect involved in the armed robbery of a tow yard employee late Saturday night.

Officers were dispatched to Rossnagle’s Tow Yard at 1165 U.S Route 22 following reports of an armed robbery. 

When they arrived, they spoke with an employee who reported that a suspect entered the yard and pointed a firearm during the encounter.

It is unclear what, if anything, was taken during the robbery. 

The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
