Police Search for Suspect in Armed Robbery at Paterson Gas Station

Paterson Police are searching for a suspect, believed to be a juvenile, who robbed a gas station at gunpoint late Friday night.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. at the Conoco gas station located at 339 McBride Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of an armed robbery in progress.

Upon arrival, employees told police they had been held up by a Black male who appeared to be a juvenile. 

The suspect reportedly displayed a firearm during the robbery before fleeing the scene on foot down McBride Avenue toward the Great Falls area.

It is unclear how much cash was taken during the incident, and no injuries were reported.

The investigation remains active, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
