Authorities in Mercer County are searching for multiple suspects following an attempted armed robbery at a Hamilton convenience store early Monday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 7-Eleven located in the 1500 block of Lalor Street shortly before 3:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a robbery in progress.
When officers arrived, they learned that a masked Black male suspect wearing a black hoodie had entered the store armed with a knife.
Investigators believe he was accompanied by two other men who remained outside during the incident.
At this time, police have not confirmed whether anything was stolen.
The suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Hamilton Police.
