Authorities in Mercer County announced that their Task Force is investigating the deaths of two adults and a child in Hamilton Township.
Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey stated that just before 4 a.m. Thursday morning, June 5, Hamilton police responded to a 911 call from a residence in the 200 block of Henry Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered an adult man, a woman, and a 10-year-old suffering gunshot wounds.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates the man shot his girlfriend and her 10-year-old daughter before shooting himself.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shootings.
