Search Continues For Newark Woman Missing Since March

Authorities in Newark are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 53-year-old Robin J. Bacote, who was reported missing earlier this month.

According to a statement released by the Newark Police Department, Ms. Bacote was last seen around noon on March 28, 2025, in the area of Baldwin Avenue near Clinton Avenue.

At the time, she was traveling with an electric scooter and carrying a mini-speaker.

Detectives describe Ms. Bacote as an African American woman, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. 


She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green vest, gray pants, a multi-colored scarf, and sneakers.

Police say that Ms. Bacote is believed to be in good physical and mental health. 

Her disappearance was officially reported on Friday, April 4, and investigators have been working to determine her whereabouts since.
