Authorities in Passaic County announced that on May 11, at approximately 6:32 p.m., the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Lafayette Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that when officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the victim, a 42-year-old male from Paterson.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased, according to Passaic County officials.
PCPO authorities say this investigation is active and ongoing.
