Good morning. We’re waking up to a cloudy and warm start across the North Jersey region this Friday.

Downtown Newark is already at 58 degrees, with breezy conditions setting the tone for the day.
According to the National Weather Service, while it won’t be a bad day overall, there’s a chance of showers and even some thunderstorms after 2 p.m., so it’s a good idea to keep an umbrella handy just in case.
Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-80s, making for a warm and pleasant afternoon.
Tonight, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m., followed by partly cloudy skies and a mild low around 63 degrees.
Enjoy your Friday, New Jersey!
