A spa on Bound Brook Road in Middlesex Borough is under investigation after authorities alleged it was being operated as an illegal front for prostitution, according to a statement released by Middlesex County officials.
Middlesex Police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said they have been looking into suspicious activities at the business for some time.
While details about the investigation have not been fully disclosed, authorities confirmed that charges related to municipal and health code violations are expected to be filed.
The name of the spa was not immediately released, as the investigation remains active and ongoing.
