Beautiful Start to the Week: Sunny Skies, Mild Temps Greet Newark Residents

Good morning!

We’re kicking off the new week with partly cloudy skies and a mild 55 degrees in downtown Newark—perfect for that early-morning walk with your dog or a trip to the bus stop.

According to the National Weather Service, the morning clouds will quickly give way to plenty of sunshine, making way for a beautiful and comfortable Monday. 

Temperatures will climb to a pleasant high of around 76 degrees, and the breezes will be gentle, coming in from the northwest at 5 to 7 mph before becoming light and variable later today.

Tonight, expect mostly clear skies and comfortable sleeping weather, with temperatures dipping to about 54 degrees.

If you have the chance, today would be a great day to enjoy lunch outdoors.
