Woman Among Two Injured in Trenton Shooting

Authorities in Trenton are investigating a shooting that left two people injured, including a woman, during a violent incident early Saturday morning.

According to initial reports, around 4 a.m., officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire near 241 East State Street. 

When police arrived, they encountered a large crowd gathered at the scene and quickly secured the area with crime scene tape.

Officers located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, along with a second individual who sustained more serious injuries. 

Police administered CPR to one of the victims before both were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for advanced treatment.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office has been notified, and no arrests have been reported at this time. 

Authorities said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
