A woman was injured yesterday after a utility pole holding a solar panel fell on her in Rahway River Park.
First responders arrived to the park sometime after 3 p.m. for reports of an injured woman.
Upon arrival, first responders found a woman - alert and conscious - who was walking with two young children, had been struck by the panel.
It is not immediately known what caused the panel to fall at this time.
The unidentified woman was transported to UMDNJ with unknown injuries.
The incident is being investigated by Union County Police Department.
