Police in Newark requests the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Monday, August 8.
Police said that just before 4:20 a.m., a female driver in the drive-thru lane of Dunkin Donuts at 1118 Broad Street was spat upon and struck in the ear and wrist with a crutch by the suspect, who had blocked her path in the drive-thru.
According to Newark Police, Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying this suspect as part of their investigation.
He is described as 5’7” tall and 165 pounds.
Police say he was wearing a dark gray t-shirt, gray sweat pants, and black and gray Sketchers.
