A multi-vehicle crash involving as many as three vehicle that occurred early this morning in Newark had a woman seriously injured.
First responders rushed to the northbound side of Rt. 1&9 near Haynes Street shortly before 3 a.m. where a female victim around the age 20-years-old suffered a serious partial amputation and was rushed to University Hospital where her injury was not reported to be life threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Newark police.
