The Mercer County authorities are investigating a Thursday morning homicide in Trenton, Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
At approximately 5:55 a.m., Trenton police received two ShotSpotter activations in the first block of Hoffman Avenue, both for multiple rounds.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim lying on the ground between 165 and 167 Hoffman Avenue suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say the victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later.
Police identified the victim as Mr. Douglas Munn, 50, of Trenton.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
