Firefighters freed an occupant trapped in a vehicle on the southbound side of Rt. 1&9 at around 2 p.m. this afternoon.
The crash occurred on the border of Elizabeth near the Hilton Hotel had at least three vehicles involved.
None of the injured were consider life threatening.
The crash caused heavy southbound delays.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
