The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is on the scene of a stabbing with fatal injuries reported at the YMCA at this time.
Police reported a person stabbed at 128 Ward Street around 12:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found at least one person stabbed on the upper floors of the building.
Police say the victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment and died a short time later.
Authorities are searching the building for other possible victims and evidence.
Police have not released a motive for the attack and no arrests have been reported.
