Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, announced yesterday that they officially closed on the acquisition of The Outlet Collection Mall - Jersey Gardens - in Elizabeth.
The Elizabeth mall's new name will now be "The Mills at Jersey Gardens," Simon said in a news release.
"The City of Elizabeth would like to offer its congratulations on this exciting development as well as extend best wishes and continued success to all," Mayor Christian Bollwage said in a Facebook post.
The mall, located off exit 13A of the New Jersey Turnpike, which has a vast list of retailers like Bed, Bath & Beyond, Century 21, Coach Factory, Forever XXI, Lord & Taylor Outlet, Michael Kors, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Nike Factory Store, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. Along with providing international and local shoppers with a variety of stores it also offers a range of restaurants as well as an AMC Theaters.
