ADCO has announced that they are recalling a batch of candles due to fire and burn hazards.
These candles, which are sold exclusively at Dollar Tree, have had reports of high flames igniting the surface of the wax or causing the glass to break.
The specific candles that are being recalled are the Sure Scents 2-1 Peaceful Stream/Moonlit Waves Candle. The candle is approximately 2½ inches tall with the powder blue color wax encased in a glass votive.
The candles were sold exclusively at Dollar Tree stores nationwide from July through September for $1.
They have only received two reports that the flame height reached above the glass, causing the glass to break but no injuries have been reported.
ADCO said that consumers should immediately stop using the candles and contact Dollar Tree for a full refund.
