Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 1:50 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market Street and Madison Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene and a 25-year-old male and a 22-year-old female, both Paterson residents who sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police said the victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
