The Essex County Prosecutor's Office are continuing to search for a suspect wanted for a triple shooting that killed a woman in a section of Newark last week.
According to county officials, residents in the vicinity of 381 South 6th Street said at around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, they heard several individuals engaged in a heated verbal dispute then multiple rounds of gunfire rang out.
Several police units arrived and found a woman suffering life-threatening bullet wounds in her head. Police say two other victims were also found shot at that location.
According to officials, Ms. Precious Adams, 23, of East Orange was pronounced dead a short time later.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
County officials said the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
