Police are searching for several suspects who drove in a Newark North Ward neighborhood and fired shots at individuals in the area on Sunday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. when police responded to reports of shots fired near 41 Stone Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found about four shell casings, but a search of the area indicated no victims, according to authorities.
Witnesses told police that a green Honda Oddessy minivan arrived in the community and one person inside began firing shots.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
