Authorities in Mercer County are looking into a pedestrian strike that resulted in fatal injuries in West Windsor on Monday night.
According to preliminary information, police responded to reports of an injured person in the 3500 block of Brunswick Pike around 10:40 p.m.
When police and EMS arrived at the scene, they found a severely injured person lying in the roadway after being struck by a car at that location.
Officials say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
