Police in Newark announced the arrest of Mr. Arturo Buret-Almonte, 43, of Newark, who was charged with possession of 3.2 kilograms of cocaine with the intent to distribute on August 26.
Police officers, in conjunction with our federal partners, arrested Buret-Almonte at approximately 2:55 p.m. in the area of Park Avenue and North 6th Street.
These charges are merely accusations.
Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
