Veteran NJ Transit Bridge Operator Dies

NJ Transit officials today announced the passing of one of their longtime employees.

Officials at the agency said the following:

”We mourn the untimely death of Aulysse Paul, a member of our Rail Infrastructure Engineering department who served customers for more than 20 years as a trackman and roving bridge operator.

We are grateful for his service to NJ, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family”.

NJ Transit would not say if Paul’s death was due to COVID-19 but friends and family on social media stated that he succumbed to the virus.

According to Paul’s Facebook page, he resided in West Orange.
