Jersey City Police are on the search for a suspect who broke into a gym locker and stole the keys to a vehicle that they sped away with on Tuesday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, police were called to the Retro Fitness located at 2 Garfield Avenue to investigate reports of a vehicle theft that occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they were told by the owner of a vehicle that someone unlawfully entered their locker and stole the car keys before making off with their blue Acura.
The incident remains under investigation and there are no reports that the car was returned at this time.
