The New Jersey State Police is currently in the process of recovering a car that was found submerged in the Salem River in Salem City, Salem County.
State Police Marine Services Bureau, Crime Scene and Major Crimes Units are assisting with the investigation.
Officials say at this time, we are unable to confirm if there is an occupant inside the vehicle.
