According to Hillside Police, at approximately 3:00 PM on Sunday, police received a report of two shots fired in the area of 400 Bloy Street.
Officials said whole sat the scene investigating, officers determined that there were no injuries.
Hillside Police said the investigation indicated that there was a verbal dispute between a male and female couple at the Laundromat Express located in the center and at some point, a third party male became involved in the dispute resulting in him firing shots at the victim.
Police say the shooter was then driven away in a blue 2002 Ford Explorer by an unknown party.
Police ultimately identified the driver of the Explorer who was interviewed by detectives and the vehicle used in the incident was located and seized.
This incident remains under full investigation which may result in future arrests.
