Police in Newark are investigating the cause of a crash that involved two trucks on Route 22 this afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened in the westbound lanes near Frelinghuysen Avenue where the two large trucks appeared to change lanes at the same time, causing the collision at around 3:15 p.m.
There were no serious injuries reported.
One of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
