Firefighters in irvington responded to a minor blaze that ignited inside an apartment of a building in the Township on Sunday morning.
According to officials, firefighters were called to a garden apartment complex located in the 40's block of Linden Avenue just before 8:55 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene and entered the third-floor residence where they found a toaster oven had somehow malfunction then ignited into flames.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire that extended to cabinets, but there were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
