There were no weapons reported for an incident that involved a carjacking in Newark on Tuesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police alerted neighboring tows to be on the lookout for a white 4-door 2018 Mercedes Benz that was carjacked by a black male suspect who forced his way into the vehicle near the vicinity of Passaic Street and 3rd Avenue before 8 p.m.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "C67-JUX."
There were no physical injuries reported.
