Burlington County authorities are looking into a crash that left one person dead Monday morning in Westampton.
According to preliminary reports, emergency responders rushed to the 700 block of Rancocas Road at approximately 3:30 a.m. after they received reports of a car crash with injuries.
Upon their arrival, rescue crews found a car crashed into a tree at that location according to reports.
The vehicle was occupied by an unidentified driver who medical professionals pronounced dead a short time later.
The official cause of the crash remains under investigation.
