A thief who lurked around a Newark South Ward community this morning in search of a victim to steal their vehicle was successful after the owner of a car left the vehicle running in a driveway.
According to reports, the incident happened before 10 a.m. on Hawthorne Avenue where the owner of a car reportedly pulled the vehicle out of a gated area of the house and left the car to close the gate.
