Hillside police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that led them on a pursuit that occurred during the overnight hours.
Officers attempted to pull a vehicle over that broke several traffic violations in Hillside's city limits just before midnight.
The vehicle sped away from police and made its way around Hillside then, with police in close pursuit, sped through Newark's South Ward.
Police reportedly called the chase off near the in Newark near the Irvington Township Border at the intersection of South 19th Street and 19th Street a little after midnight.
Authorities are looking for a silver Dodge Ram with reported NJ license plate numbers "JWZ-5523". According to reports, the license plates registration does not match the vehicle that was in pursuit.
The suspects remain at-large.
