Newark Police are on the search for Mr. Nestor Carrasquillo, 27, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning for a robbery of a taxicab driver on Thursday, September 20th.
Police say the taxicab driver picked up a dispatched fare in the 100-block of Clifton Avenue on a call for a ride to North 13th Street when the passenger, a male, robbed the driver at gunpoint as he drove to the requested destination.
Police say the suspect exited the vehicle at North 13th Street and fled towards North 12th Street.
Detectives investigating this incident have identified Carrasquillo and want to question him about the incident but can't locate Carrasquillo.
Police described Carrasquillo as 5’7” tall weighs 155 lbs.
Police say he has a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
