A Roxbury Township woman was sentenced to five years of probation after attempting to poison her grandmother.
In addition to probation, Elise Conroy, must get mental health counseling.
Officials say Conroy was initially charged with attempted murder but ultimately pleaded guilty in July to aggravated assault.
According to authorities, Conroy, poured antifreeze into her 83-year-old grandmother’s juice reportedly because of alleged mistreatment.
Officials say the grandmother died in March after a heart attack
