Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in a robbery that occurred on August 5th.
According to authorities, at approximately 2:40 a.m., police responded to the 600-block of Market Street after an officer was flagged down concerning a man with a gun.
Officials say the first arriving officer observed two men running from the area and fleeing in a white Infinity and a black Nissan Altima.
Police subsequently observed the black vehicle traveling on Market Street towards McCarter Highway disregarded the traffic signal and the officers attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop. Authorities say the driver fled, ultimately eluding police.
Detectives investigating this incident determined that a male victim was robbed of his Apple Mac Book computer and an Apple iPhone 7 Plus by the two suspects before they fled the scene. The depicted suspects, reportedly attempted to pawn the victim’s property later that day.
Police seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating these suspects and removing them from the streets.
