Jersey City Police searched a section of the city for a crime scene after a person entered a hospital suffering stabbed wounds.
According to police, an unidentified person entered the emergency department at Jersey City Medical Center suffering stab wounds just before 8:30 p.m.
The victim told police that they suffered the injuries after an attack at a location on Martin Luther King Drive.
Doctors treated the victim for non-life threatening stab wounds to the leg and hand according to reports.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
