Volunteer Soccer Coach from South Brunswick Charged in Explicit Images of Minors Investigation

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Raymond Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department announced today that a township man has been arrested and charged with possessing and distributing Explicit Images of Minors.

 

Authorities arrested Waldo Milla-Guerra, 49, a volunteer soccer coach with the South Brunswick Soccer Club and former Sunday School teacher at Central Jersey Church of Christ in North Brunswick at his home today after a search warrant was executed at his residence.

 

Police charged Milla-Guerra with one count of distribution ofExplicit Images of Minors in the second degree and one count of possession ofExplicit Images of Minors in the third degree.

During the investigation it was determined that Guerra viewed and was in possession of an undisclosed number of illicit images of children and shared multiple images of children on the internet.

 

Officials said Guerra is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick pending a court appearance tomorrow.

 

The investigation is active and is continuing.

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Guerra are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
