There is heavy police activity in the area of 30th Street and Palisade Avenue as authorities are investigating a hit and run incident that has officers injured at this time.
Details regarding what exactly took place in the incident are pending but according to preliminary reports, at least two officers were struck by a motorcycle that fled the scene shortly before 9 p.m.
One of the officers is en route to an area hospital suffering serious injuries.
The extent of the remaining injured officers have not been confirmed.
County law enforcement officials are on the scene assisting in the active investigation.
