Emergency responders are on the scene of a crash with injuries reported in a neighborhood in the city's Central Ward at this time.
The crash happened at the intersection of Montgomery and Barclay streets shortly before 8:30 a.m. sending rescue crews to the scene for at least one trapped occupant.
The victim was extricated at around 8:35 a.m. and transported to University Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries according to reports.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Newark Police
