An 11-month-old boy was flown by helicopter to hospital after he was hit in the face by a foul ball during a baseball game in Sussex County.
According to police, officers responded to the Skylands Stadium Wednesday shortly before 7:30 p.m., after an 11-month-old boy - in a stroller - was struck in his right eye by the foul ball.
The child was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Newark where he is reportedly in stable condition.
The game was stopped during the ordeal but eventually resumed.
